Kale with Lemon and Garlic
1 Bunch Kale
4 Cloves Garlic, chopped
2 Tbs. Olive Oil
1 Tbs. Lemon Juice
Pinch of Salt and Pepper
Tear kale leaves into medium size pieces.
Discard the tough stem.
Wash kale a couple of times in plenty of cold water.
You may need to change the water two or three times to remove dirt and sand.
Remove kale from water and place into a colander to drain.
Place pan over medium-high heat on the stove.
Add oil and garlic to the pan.
Cook garlic in the oil just until it begins to sizzle.
Add kale to the pan.
Using kitchen tongs, flip and stir kale in the pan for a couple minutes.
Kale should wilt down and become soft.
Remove kale from heat.
Add lemon juice, salt and pepper.
Mix ingredients together and serve.
